Corporate Tax Manager Vacancy

What is the candidate profile?

The candidate should:

• Be a qualified accountant, preferably ACA/ACCA.
• Have completed the Irish Tax Institute exams.
• Have a number of years’ experience with a top accountancy or law firm, preferably one of which should be at manager level. Ideally, the candidate should have corporate tax planning experience, currently acting for both indigenous and foreign clients.
• Be creative and technically proficient, comfortable solving technical tax issues.
• Have excellent inter-personal skills and experience interfacing with their clients.

What will the role entail?

Tax consultancy work, which will include:

• Providing clients with high level planning & consultancy advice.
• Devising efficient corporate and structures for business acquisitions and sales, restructuring and reorganisations.
• Demonstrating an ability to research points quickly and arrive at solutions that work.
• Interacting with other professional advisors on assignments, in some cases assisting with the project management of the assignment, as well as being the tax advisor.
• Working with existing clients to develop new business opportunities.

Tax compliance work:

• You will play a key part in servicing our compliance base, but this will not be a significant element of your work.
