Tom is the Managing Partner of Warren & Partners and has over 25 years of taxation experience. Tom has extensive knowledge of all areas of Irish taxation and has a particular interest in tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, family-owned private companies, foreign companies setting up in Ireland and Irish companies expanding abroad.
In 1995, Tom became a qualified accountant and was awarded FCCA (Fellow Chartered and Certified Accountant) status from the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants, a certification that recognises extensive experience and long-term commitment to professionalism and ethics.
Tom qualified from the Irish Tax Institute as a CTA (Chartered Tax Advisor) in 1996, a qualification recognised as being the international gold standard in Irish tax expertise.
Prior to joining Warren & Partners, Tom worked in the taxation department of RSM Farrell Grant Sparks for four years and as Senior Manager in PwC's taxation department for a further four years. Tom joined Warren & Partners in 2002 and advises a broad range of domestic and international clients, including personal and corporate tax clients such as high-net-worth individuals, executives, partnerships, start-up companies (particularly in the technology and pharma industries), and prominent Irish companies.
Tom has lectured over several years on topical taxation issues and he has written articles for the Irish Tax Review journal, which is published quarterly by the Irish Tax Institute. Tom has also lectured for various business groups, including the Construction Industry Federation.
